Welcome to CROSSKIX! Our mission is to maintain and preserve the image and brand identity of CROSSKIX. This Branding Guideline will serve as a resource tool to ensure that your marketing, merchandising, and advertising dollars are allocated and spent correctly.

Below you will find specific guidelines and instructions for displaying, merchandising, and advertising CROSSKIX. This guideline is updated periodically and supercedes all Marketing and Branding guidelines set forth by any third party company. CROSSKIX reserves the right to update and revise this guideline at any time.

Crosskix’s marks include the Crosskix's name, logos, taglines, graphics, and any other word, phrase, image or other designation that identifies Crosskix as the source or origin of any product or service.

USAGE GUIDELINES

The CROSSKIX logo will be provided in both a negative and positive output for use on all media types. There are no limitations to size and color. -

DO's

  1. Size: Use these marks in a readable size
  2. Font/Effect: Keep them straight and free of filters and effects
  3. Color: Silver/White logo on dark backgrounds, black logo on dark backgrounds
  4. The complete logo must be visible including the "crown" logo that replaces the "o" in the word "cross".
  5. The "crown" logo may be used as a stand alone

DONT's

  1. Rotate these marks
  2. Alter their proportions or colors
  3. Obstruct them
  4. Add extraneous effects
  5. Other Prohibited use of Logo:

 

Due to the threat of CROSSKIX's brand identity and reputation, certain uses and forms of the logo are expressly prohibited unless prior written approval of an authorized CROSSKIX representative is obtained. Below are some (but not limited) of the most unauthorized uses:

  • cannot imprint on ANY apparel, accessory, or footwear items (i.e. tshirts, bags, bottles, socks, notepads, shoes, etc.)
  • cannot use with any print or media ads not associated with CROSSKIX (i.e. posters, magazines, YouTube, facebook, etc.)
  • cannot be used for any promotional items and/or events associated with "other" brands (i.e. golf tournament, charity event, etc.)
  • cannot hang on peg board or any other hanging type display options (regardless of any retail environment)
  • cannot display on a table with other "sale" or "discounted" items

TAGLINE

The tagline " HYBRID FOOTWEAR " may be used with any marketing materials. Use of any other tagline or any revisions to the authorized tagline and/or variations are strictly prohibited.

USE OF LOGO & TAGLINE

DO'S

  • The CROSSKIX logo must be used with any print ads including posters, magazines, flyers, etc. It must be prominently placed and be easily identified.
  • The logo must also be used in media ads including TV, video, social media (including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.). Use of the Tagline is optional and if used must be used within the guidelines as specifically stated above.

POP (POINT OF PURCHASE) MATERIAL

DO'S

CROSSKIX will provide downloadable art that can be printed for POP material including posters, flyers, tent cards, etc. Authorized Distributors and Retails will be able to produce their own but ALL POP material MUST be reviewed and a written approval must be obtained prior to use in market.

MERCHANDISING

CROSSKIX footwear must be displayed in an environment congruent in the mid to high retail environment. This can be very subjective so we have included below some of the APPROVED and PROHIBITED options when merchandising CROSSKIX:

DON’Ts

  • cannot display on a table with other "sale" or "discounted" items
  • cannot hang on peg board or any other hanging type display options (regardless of any retail environment)  
  • can display on slat wall  
  • can display on a stand alone retail rack but not in any hanging type options

 

MAP (Minimum Advertised Price)

The Minimum Advertised Price that can be advertised by any Retailer, Distributor, or Authorized Representative must be approved by an Authorized Crosskix Representative. We strongly suggest to establish a sale price as close to the SRP. However, you may deviate from the $SRP no lower than the MAP pricing below:

USE OF ATHLETE or CELEBRITY

Use of any athlete, celebrity, or high profile person for use as a print or any form of media advertisement is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from an authorized Crosskix representative. However, it may be used for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. As long as it is not being used in a commercial platform, images of high profile celebrities and athletes may be used on a "personal" level.

USE OF FASHION MODELS

Use of a Male or Female model that is not specifically prohibited and is consistent with a healthy athletic/casual inspired image will not require written permission from a CROSSKIX representative.

ALL OTHER SALES

Generally, any sale that is not specifically prohibited and is consistent with a healthy athletic-culture inspired image will not require prior written permission from a CROSSKIX representative.

 

COMPLIANCE

All aforementioned guidelines are strictly enforced by CROSSKIX. Failure to comply with any of said guidelines may result in immediate termination of distributorship or retail partnership and may be subject to legal ramifications.
