Crosskix at the Rose Festival

June 11, 2014 1 Comment

We've always believed our EVA, water-draining shoes could be perfect for dragon boat racers. This past weekend gave us a chance to test that theory at the Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race.

With close to 3000 in attendance, more than 80 different teams took their boats into the Willamette River, including the Fire Breathing Blowfish team (pictured above) all strapped in Crosskix.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth. We're excited for the growth of dragon boat racing and look forward to more racers choosing Crosskix as their go-to shoe!

Your's in motion,

Crosskix are made to have a "RELAXED FIT"

They are made to have a little extra room but still has a secure fit that allows your feet to feel stable as you walk.
There will be a slight amount of room around the perimeter of the foot and the sides of your feet may meet the shoe walls. This holds true especially when you wear socks.
The top of your foot will also have some space. And your toes shouldn't touch the front of the shoe.

Follow these simple instructions to determine the proper size Crosskix.

      STEP 1:

Place a piece of paper against the base of a wall and place your foot on top making sure that your heel is touching the wall base.

      STEP 2:

With a pencil or pen, mark the furthest part of your foot.

      STEP 3:

Using a ruler, measure the length of your foot from the end of the paper to the mark you made in step 2.

Your final step is to locate your measurement on the size chart below and cross-reference it with the corresponding size.

NOTE: If your measurement falls in between sizes, we suggest to go up to the nearest size for the best fit..but make sure there is at least 1/2" or 12mm from your foot length to the length on size chart.

        SIZING TIP:

Order the size you would normally wear in sneakers. Crosskix have been compared to other sneakers that are "standard" sizing which neither runs small or large.

        Order the wrong size?

No problem! We understand there's a good chance this will happen from time to time. If so, simply send back the (unworn) shoes in it's original packaging and we'll send you the correct size.
